The Big 12 is "seriously considering" adding Gonzaga as a men's basketball member for either the 2024 or 2025 school year, sources told Brett McMurphy of Action Network.

The decision could be made within the next two weeks and may be contingent upon the Bulldogs accepting less revenue at the start of their Big 12 tenure, McMurphy added, citing a source.

SMU recently joined the ACC under similar conditions, and the Mustangs won't earn any television revenue from the conference for approximately nine years.

The Big 12 has already added Colorado, Arizona, Arizona State, and Utah for 2024.

Gonzaga would also compete in the Big 12 in baseball, women's soccer, volleyball, and men's and women's tennis, a source told McMurphy.

The Bulldogs' men's basketball program has been a powerhouse during Mark Few's 24-year tenure. Gonzaga has been to every NCAA Tournament since 1999, including two appearances in the national championship game.
