Former Syracuse head coach Jim Boeheim is finalizing an agreement to join ESPN's college basketball coverage for the 2023-24 campaign, a source told CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein.

The Hall of Famer is reportedly expected to have a role on-site at games and in the studio.

Boeheim will also apparently serve as a radio analyst for Westwood One during next year's NCAA Tournament and may be on the call for additional games during Championship Week, adds Rothstein.

The New York native called it a career last March after a 47-year run as the Orange's bench boss. He guided the school to its lone national championship in 2003.

Only Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski had more wins than Boeheim at the Division I level.
