Brown spent last season at Hofstra averaging 2.7 points and 1.4 rebounds per game. Prior to his time with the Pride, he spent two seasons at Barstow College averaging a double-double in both seasons.
Wildcats head coach Gravelle Craig is optimistic that Brown can help his team improve on their 14-20 record from last year.
"Daquan is an active '4' man with good length," Craig said in the release announcing the addition. "His size will allow us to match up with bigger/taller teams in our league. He has a high basketball IQ and can score out to 12 ft. He is also an experienced player that played in a tough conference. He makes us bigger and better."
