It took a dramatic comeback by Michigan, but the Big Ten continues to roll at the 2025 NCAA Tournament.

The 5th-ranked Wolverines erased a 10-point deficit with a furious second-half rally to beat No. 4 Texas A&M 91-79 in their Round of 32 clash Saturday.

That victory improved the Big Ten's record to 10-0 at that time. Wisconsin was the first Big Ten team to lose when its comeback bid versus BYU fell short after John Tonje airballed his last-second jumper. UCLA lost in the nightcap to Tennessee.

Purdue advanced to the Sweet 16 earlier in the afternoon with a triumph over McNeese State.

An additional four Big Ten schools could still join Michigan and Purdue in the second weekend. Illinois, Maryland, Michigan State, and Oregon are all in action Sunday.

Roddy Gayle Jr. scored a season-high 26 points off the bench to lead Michigan to its eighth Sweet 16 since 2013.

Meanwhile, Pharrel Payne added 26 points and five boards for the Aggies in a losing cause.

The Wolverines won the rebounding battle by nine and had 42 points in the paint.
