Auburn star Johni Broome returned to Sunday's 70-64 Elite Eight win over Michigan State after momentarily leaving the contest following an awkward fall.

Broome injured his right elbow while contesting a shot at the rim. He remained on the floor for several moments before heading to the locker room.

Broome was in the midst of a fantastic game, dropping 22 points and grabbing 12 rebounds against the Spartans at the time of the injury. He immediately drained a triple after checking back into the contest and grabbed two more rebounds in the remainder of the contest.

The fifth-year forward is among the leading candidates for the Wooden Award. He entered Sunday's clash averaging 18.5 points, 10.8 boards, and 2.9 assists across 34 appearances.

Broome ranks fifth in the nation with 21 double-doubles.
