Rutgers freshman Dylan Harper has declared for the NBA draft, he announced Monday on ESPN's "NBA Today," according to Jonathan Givony.

"I'll remember all the life lessons this season," Harper told ESPN. "The ups and downs and good and bad. Staying leveled."

Harper is widely projected to be taken second overall after Duke phenom Cooper Flagg.

The 6-foot-6 guard was the fourth-ranked recruit on the ESPN 100 for 2024. He excelled during his lone campaign with the Scarlet Knights, averaging 19.4 points, 4.6 boards, four assists, and 1.4 steals across 29 appearances.

Harper was an All-Big Ten third-team selection and named to the Wooden Award top 15 watch list.

Harper boasts elite size at the point, shot-creating ability, and superb finishing around the basket. He made 69.5% of his attempts at the rim and 33.1% of his threes, per Hoop Explorer.

"NBA teams saw I am an all-around player," Harper said. "I can do whatever it takes to win. Whether it's score, defend or facilitate. Anything coach needs me to do."
