Report: Arkansas' Fland enters transfer portal
Arkansas guard Boogie Fland entered the transfer portal with a "do not contact" tag, a source told CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein.
Fland declared for the NBA draft earlier in April, but the former five-star recruit entered the portal to keep his options open despite having no intention of withdrawing from the draft, adds Rothstein.
The 6-foot-2 guard was the 16th overall recruit on the 2024 ESPN 100 and was projected to be a one-and-done prospect. However, he isn't a lock to be selected in the first round of this year's draft.
Fland averaged 13.5 points, 5.1 assists, 3.2 boards, and 1.5 steals across 21 appearances during his lone campaign with the Razorbacks.
He was initially expected to miss the remainder of the 2024-25 season due to a hand injury but returned for Arkansas' Sweet 16 run in the NCAA Tournament.
