Facing a seven-point deficit at halftime, Kansas needed a spark against Villanova, and Frank Mason III was the man for the job.
Following two Perry Ellis free throws, the junior guard stole the ensuing inbound pass and turned it into points with a nasty reverse layup.
The combination of brilliance from Mason forced Wildcats coach Jay Wright to call a timeout just 19 seconds in to the half.
