Florida's 2017 recruiting class added another four-star recruit Tuesday, as athlete Kadarius Toney committed to the Gators, according to Andrew Spivey of GatorCountry.com.
Toney is the 22nd-ranked player at the athlete position in the country and comes in at 278th-ranked player on the ESPN 300. It's unclear what position the Alabama native will lineup at for Jim McElwain's Gators, but with his explosiveness, he can fill a multitude of roles on the field. Most of his snaps in high school have come as a dual-threat quarterback.
A number of FBS schools had offered Toney, including Georgia Tech, Wake Forest, and South Carolina.
