Oklahoma's Thomas arrested for public intoxication, assault, and battery

For the second time in eight months, Oklahoma defensive star Jordan Thomas has run afoul of the law.
The standout cornerback, who spent a night in jail for failing to appear in court for traffic violations in December, was arrested early Thursday morning and charged with public intoxication, interference, and assault and battery.
The 20-year-old appears in the Cleveland County Sheriff's records as being booked at 2:45 a.m.
An Oklahoma spokesman said the school is "aware of it and will monitor the situation and react accordingly."
Thomas was named second-team All-Big 12 by the AP following a standout season in 2015. The 6-foot, 187-pound Texan registered 46 tackles and had five interceptions for the conference champion Sooners.
