Watch: Matthew McConaughey fires up Texas before Notre Dame game

Texas scored a major double-overtime victory Sunday night against Notre Dame, and perhaps the reason for the inspired effort was actor Matthew McConaughey.

The diehard Longhorns fan, who also teaches a film class at the university, visited the team's practice prior to the game Sunday and delivered an epic pump-up speech.

Texas, which got pummeled by the Fighting Irish 38-3 last year, was a completely different team this time around, taking down Notre Dame 50-47 to open the season.
