Colorado lands 4-star wideout K.D. Nixon
Colorado's success on the field in 2016 is leading to some off the field as well, as the Buffaloes landed the commitment of four-star receiver K.D. Nixon on Tuesday.
The 5-foot-7, 190-pound Nixon is ranked by ESPN as the 41st-best receiver prospect in the country, and the 47th overall in the state of Texas.
The Buffaloes have been one of the best stories in college football this season, already surpassing last year's win total of four with a 5-2 start. The high-powered passing attack employed by coach Mike MacIntyre should be a perfect fit for the explosive Nixon.
The DeSoto native held offers from a number of Power 5 programs, including Tennessee, Oklahoma State, Houston, and Louisville, before deciding on the Buffaloes.
