Lamar Jackson wins Walter Camp Award

Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson has won the Walter Camp Award, honoring the player of the year in college football.
The sophomore standout dominated the opposition all season, throwing for 3,390 yards and 30 touchdowns, while adding 1,583 yards on the ground and 21 more scores.
Jackson won the award over Michigan's Jabrill Peppers, Washington's Jake Browning, Clemson's Deshaun Watson, and Alabama's Jonathan Allen.
The win could be a preview of what's to come at the Heisman Trophy ceremony on Saturday night, as Jackson is the favorite to capture that award as well. The last three Heisman winners have also won the Walter Camp award in the same year.
