The 6-foot-6, 194-pound signal-caller is the No. 1 overall prospect in the state of Georgia for the 2018 recruiting class, and the No. 3 player on the ESPN Jr. 300.
As expected for the top quarterback in the country, Lawrence holds offers from a number of Power 5 programs, including Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, and Oklahoma.
His commitment marks the second straight season the Tigers have nabbed the top-ranked pocket-passing QB in the country, as Hunter Johnson committed to Clemson in the 2017 recruiting cycle.
