Clemson star Ferrell leaves game with ankle injury

Clemson looks as though it will be without Clelin Ferrell for the remainder of Monday's CFP title game against Alabama, as the star defensive lineman left the contest with an ankle injury.
Ferrell was helped to the sideline, and after examination by the trainers had his helmet taken away, a sign that almost surely means he is done for the night.
The 6-foot-5, 265-pounder was a massive key to the Tigers' win in the Fiesta Bowl over Ohio State, registering three tackles for loss and one sack, so his loss could be a massive hit for Clemson.
