15. LB Arden Key - LSU
LSU is hoping Key's shoulder injury doesn't force him to miss regular-season action, as the Tigers can't afford to lose their star pass-rusher for any length of time. Key's 12 sacks a year ago proved he's one of the nation's best players, but he failed to record a quarterback takedown against rival Alabama. For LSU to beat the Crimson Tide for the first time since 2011, Key will need to produce as advertised.

14. WR Calvin Ridley - Alabama
Ridley's explosiveness is undeniable, as the junior caught a pass of 45-plus yards in five different games last season. The Crimson Tide receiver also posted seven touchdowns in each of his first two campaigns in Tuscaloosa and makes life miserable for opposing defensive backs by stretching the field. Alabama's ability to run the football effectively also does wonders for Ridley's skill set, allowing him to maximize his speed in the play-action passing game.

13. RB Derrius Guice - LSU
Injuries to Leonard Fournette opened the door for Guice in 2016, and he delivered in a big way. The junior ran for nearly 1,400 yards and 15 touchdowns, announcing himself as the country's next great back. LSU's backfield will unquestionably be his in 2017, so Guice could potentially expand on those numbers with even more carries.

12. DE Harold Landry - Boston College
A Boston College player might not be someone you'd expect to see on this list, but Landry is certainly worthy of the distinction. While the Eagles have gone just 2-14 in conference play over the past two seasons, Landry's been a lone bright spot, and led the nation in sacks (16.5) and forced fumbles (7) in 2016. The pass-rusher was also at his best against top competition last year, totaling three sacks against Florida State and Clemson.

11. OT Connor Williams - Texas
The 2017 campaign is likely the last time you'll see Williams at Texas, as the tackle is expected to be a coveted player in next year's NFL draft. Williams was named a consensus first-team All-American in 2016, while paving the way for D'Onta Foreman's 2,000-yard season on the ground. The junior is a master at frustrating opposing pass-rushers and keeping his quarterback clean.
