Add Nashville, Tenn. and Orlando, Fla. to the list of potential cities should the opening week contest between LSU and BYU need to be moved from Houston due to Hurricane Harvey.

New Orleans offered the Superdome on Sunday to host the Sept. 2 contest, and now Nashville and Orlando have entered the fray as well.

Officials from Nashville's Nissan Stadium and Orlando's Camping World Stadium confirmed to Ross Dellenger of The Advocate that both venues are potential landing spots.

The two venues may be better options than the Superdome as Harvey is supposed to produce heavy rain in New Orleans later this week. Should the game be played in the Louisiana city, it would also present a massive home advantage to the Tigers.

While cities continue to line up, LSU athletic director Joe Alleva said the decision lies with ESPN, as the network owns the rights to the AdvoCare Texas Kickoff.

A move would mark the fourth time in three seasons that LSU has had a game severely affected by weather.

The opening game of the 2015 season versus McNeese State was canceled just minutes after kickoff due to lightning and was never rescheduled. Later that season, a road contest against South Carolina was moved to Tiger Stadium due to massive flooding in Columbia, S.C., and just last season the threat of Hurricane Matthew forced Florida to move its home game against LSU to Baton Rouge, La.
