Boise State suffers 1st double-digit home loss in 16 years
The blue turf at Boise State has become famous throughout the college football world, but it's not just for show: The Broncos have become one of the best home teams in the sport.
The fact that it's become so hard for road teams to win in Boise makes Virginia's 42-23 beatdown of the Broncos on Friday even more stunning.
The Cavaliers entered the contest as 13-point underdogs, then absolutely manhandled Boise State for a huge non-conference win.
So just how shocking was Friday's result?

Tonight: loses to UVa by 19
Yup, pretty damn shocking.
Boise State has plenty of time to figure things out, as the program is off until an Oct. 6 trip to face BYU.
