Cook previously committed to Florida State with intentions of following in his brother's footsteps, but decided to reopen his recruitment shortly thereafter. Dalvin is the Seminoles' all-time leading rusher and was one of the more electrifying players in the country in recent years.
The younger Cook is the third-ranked running back for the class of 2018, and is listed by ESPN as the 55th-best overall prospect.
His commitment represents the latest recruiting win for Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs, who recently landed highly touted quarterback Justin Fields as well. Cook's decision means that Georgia boasts two of the top running back recruits in the country for next season, as the program already landed the top rusher in the class of 2018, Zamir White.
