Auburn fined $250K after Tigers fans storm field in win over Alabama

Auburn's win over Alabama came with a price Saturday, as the school was hit with a $250,000 penalty for fans storming the field after the Iron Bowl victory.
The SEC announced the punishment shortly after the game, with the quarter of a million-dollar fine stemming from the fact it's the school's third violation in the past four years.
It's a fine that outgoing athletic director Jay Jacobs will gladly take care of.
"It will be the sweetest one I ever pay, it will be," Jacobs told Tom Green of AL.com. "And the last one I'll pay. I hope there are many more to come for Auburn."
Fans stormed the field following the incredible "Kick-6" win over Alabama in 2013, and also rushed the court after the basketball team's win over Kentucky last year.
