4-star S Jaiden Woodbey flips from Ohio State to Florida State
Willie Taggart has his first big win on the recruiting trail, as four-star safety Jaiden Woodbey flipped his commitment from Ohio State to Florida State on Wednesday.
Woodbey, who made the announcement at a press conference, has been committed to the Buckeyes since February, but received interest from Taggart since he took the Florida State job earlier in the month.
The 6-foot-1, 210-pounder is ranked as the third-best safety in the class of 2018, and is listed as the 66th overall prospect on the ESPN 300.
With star safety Derwin James heading to the NFL draft, don't be shocked if Woodbey sees time on the field for Taggart's defense. His commitment is a huge positive for the Seminoles after their class ranking had dropped to No. 36 after Wednesday's signings.
