An Alabama fan in New Orleans for the Sugar Bowl caught a tough break Monday when she lost her RV in a fire, but refused to let it ruin the game for her.
The fire started around 11 a.m. outside the Mercedes-Benz Superdome and temporarily closed the immediate area to traffic, according to Kimberly Curth of FOX 8. No one was injured and firefighters were able to put out the blaze quickly.
The fan asked not to be identified, but did provide a statement: "Roll Tide."
Alabama defeated Clemson 24-6 in the Sugar Bowl to advance to the College Football Playoff National Championship.
