AP Poll: Kentucky, Texas among 5 newcomers in top 25

The AP Poll welcomed five newcomers into the top 25, as No. 17 Kentucky, No. 18 Texas, No. 22 Duke, No. 24 Cal, and No. 25 Texas Tech all secured spots.
Kentucky hadn't appeared in the rankings since 2007. The Wildcats moved to 4-0 on Saturday after knocking off Mississippi State, which tumbled nine spots to No. 23.
Texas landed right behind Kentucky after improving to 3-1 with an impressive victory over TCU. The Longhorns began the season ranked but quickly dropped out of the top 25 after losing Week 1 to Maryland.
Elsewhere, LSU continued its surge up the rankings, moving to No. 5
