The Egg Bowl rivalry between Mississippi State and Ole Miss is certainly one of the fiercest in college football, and that proved true yet again Thursday night.
With the Bulldogs leading 28-3, Rebels quarterback Matt Corral threw a touchdown pass to A.J. Brown on the final play of the third quarter. After the star receiver found the end zone, a skirmish began that erupted into a full-blown brawl, resulting in four players being ejected.
To make matters worse for Ole Miss, during an official review of the play to take another look at the brawl, the referees noticed that the ball was snapped after the game clock had run out, taking the touchdown off the board.

The officials also hit every single player on both teams with an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty, meaning anybody receiving a second will be ejected.
