Wilson says Florida State players won't train after Norvell lied about meetings
It appears Florida State players won't be training or working out anytime soon after star defensive tackle Marvin Wilson tweeted that head coach Mike Norvell lied to the media about one-on-one meetings with players in the wake of George Floyd's death in police custody.
Norvell told Tashan Reed of The Athletic earlier this week that he went "back and forth individually with every player" after Floyd's killing and the ensuing events nationwide.
Wilson disputed that statement in a response on Twitter, claiming members of the team all received the same text message and that there were no one-on-one meetings with the new head coach. Wilson, a team captain for the Seminoles, added that players are "outraged" and "will not be working out until further notice."

Norvell is entering his first season as Florida State's head coach, coming over to the ACC after four seasons with Memphis. The 38-year-old led the Tigers to an impressive 38-15 record during his time with the team.
