Four-star quarterback Shedeur Sanders announced his commitment to Florida Atlantic's class of 2021 on Monday.
Shedeur, son of Hall of Fame cornerback Deion Sanders, is the No. 41 overall recruit and eighth-ranked pocket-passer on the ESPN 300.
The Cedar Hill, Texas, native chose the Owls over offers from Alabama, Georgia, Florida, and LSU, among others.
Florida Atlantic, which named Willie Taggart its head coach this offseason to replace Lane Kiffin, posted an 11-3 record last season and beat SMU in the Boca Raton Bowl to close out its campaign.
Michael Irvin II, son of the Hall of Fame wide receiver, transferred in June to play his final college season for the Owls.
