LSU wide receiver Kayshon Boutte will miss the remainder of the season after suffering a leg injury Saturday against Kentucky, head coach Ed Orgeron announced Monday.
Boutte was carted off in the fourth quarter after an impressive sideline grab.
The star wideout has been one of LSU's most productive players in what has been an otherwise disappointing campaign for the Tigers. Boutte has recorded 39 receptions for 509 yards and nine touchdowns this season.
LSU has now lost key players on both sides of the ball, with defensive back Derek Stingley also out due to a foot injury. The Tigers currently sit at 3-3 and have lost two straight.
