Report: Michigan's Gattis leaving for Miami's OC job
Michigan offensive coordinator Josh Gattis is taking the Miami offensive coordinator job, a source told Fox Sports' Bruce Feldman.
Gattis won the Broyles Award as the nation's top assistant coach in 2021 after the Wolverines went 12-2 and averaged 35.8 points per game.
The coordinator expressed his disappointment with Michigan's administration in a text to some Wolverines players, according to ESPN's Tom VanHaaren.

Michigan has now lost both coordinators from last season. Defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald recently left his post for the same position with the NFL's Baltimore Ravens.
Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh also flirted with returning to the NFL, interviewing with the Minnesota Vikings before announcing his return and commitment to Michigan.
Meanwhile, Gattis is a significant addition to Mario Cristobal's staff in Miami. Cristobal, who left Oregon for the head coaching job last December, is set to embark on his first season leading the Hurricanes.
Gattis has also enjoyed stints on the offensive staffs of Alabama, Penn State, Vanderbilt, and Western Michigan over his career.
