5-star OT Kadyn Proctor commits to Iowa
Five-star offensive tackle Kadyn Proctor announced his commitment to Iowa on Thursday.
Proctor, the No. 6 overall recruit in the 2023 class, is the nation's second-ranked offensive tackle on the ESPN 300. The Iowa native chose the Hawkeyes over finalist Alabama.
Been a long time coming, the wait is over. Hawkeye Nation you got my everything from the first day I get there. Let’s work 🙏🏾💕 I’m Home pic.twitter.com/nwYgCnSMFi

The 6-foot-6, 315-pounder is the highest-ranked recruit to commit to Iowa, according to Hayes Fawcett of On3.
"As an offensive lineman, there are limited schools as to saying it's an offensive line producer," Proctor told Fawcett. "When I see that Iowa is one of those schools, I had to go with it. Growing up not being a fan of either Iowa or Iowa State made me want to have a favorite college team, and (I) gradually got into watching the Hawks and the success that (they) have had with mostly two-to-four-stars. Why not be a five-star and be the best one there ever was to walk that field?"
