5-star WR Joshisa Trader commits to Miami
Miami made a major splash Thursday, landing the commitment from 2024 five-star wide receiver Joshisa Trader, according to Steve Wiltfong of 247Sports.
The Florida native chose the Hurricanes over Florida State, Georgia, and Ohio State, among other finalists. The 6-foot-1, 180-pounder is the third-ranked wide receiver and 11th overall recruit in the ESPN 300.
"They have been recruiting me since the beginning, and I have felt the love from them ever since. I feel like there's no place like home," Trader said of his decision, according to On3's Hayes Fawcett.
Trader is the first five-star prospect to join Miami's 2024 class. In addition to him, the Hurricanes' haul features four other ESPN 300 recruits, including top-100 running back Kevin Riley.
