EA Sports announced on Friday its power rankings for the upcoming College Football 25 game.

Georgia tops the list with a 95 overall rating. The Bulldogs are followed by Ohio State (93 overall) and Oregon (93). Texas (92) and Alabama (92) round out the top five.

Michigan is ranked No. 11 with an 88 rating, the same as Penn State, Utah, Florida State, Miami, Texas A&M, and Ole Miss. The Wolverines are the reigning national champions but lost several key pieces this year, including quarterback J.J. McCarthy and head coach Jim Harbaugh.

Colorado received arguably the most generous mark in the upcoming video game, as Deion Sanders' outfit ranks 16th with an 87 overall rating despite finishing the 2023 season with a 4-8 record. The Buffaloes' offense ranked only 99th in yards per play in 2023, yet EA Sports gave the unit led by quarterback Shedeur Sanders and two-way star Travis Hunter an 89 grade, the eighth best.

With head coach Kirby Smart and quarterback Carson Beck, the Bulldogs once again enter the season as one of the nation's strongest teams. Georgia lost to Alabama in the SEC title game last year but won back-to-back national championships in 2021 and 2022.

Ohio State, led by Ryan Day, has posted an 11-2 record over the last three seasons but enters the 2024 season under pressure after losing three straight versus Michigan. The Buckeyes upgraded their roster in the transfer portal, adding safety Caleb Downs, quarterback Will Howard, and running back Quinshon Judkins, among others.

Oregon is projected to be a contender in the Big Ten right away as the Ducks enter Year 3 under head coach Dan Lanning. Their transfer class stands out after bringing in former Oklahoma quarterback Dillon Gabriel and ex-Michigan State defensive lineman Derrick Harmon, among others.

EA Sports released multiple College Football 25 rankings this week. Georgia and Oregon have the video game's best offenses (94 overall), while Ohio State boasts the top defensive unit (96).

Texas A&M's Kyle Field was ranked the toughest stadium to play in for the upcoming video game.

Rankings are subject to change in future updates.
