5-star recruit Moore commits to Oregon as No. 1 WR in 2025 class
Five-star wide receiver Dakorien Moore announced his commitment to Oregon's 2025 class on Thursday.
Moore is the top-ranked 2025 wideout and the No. 3 overall recruit in the ESPN 300 behind quarterbacks Bryce Underwood and Julian Lewis. By choosing the Ducks over Texas, LSU, and Ohio State this week, the Texas native becomes the highest-rated prospect to ever commit to Oregon, according to Erik Skopil of 247Sports.
Moore originally committed to LSU in August 2023 but decommitted from the Tigers back in May. After reopening his recruitment, he only visited the Ducks, Longhorns, Tigers, and Buckeyes.
The 5-foot-11, 185-pound pass-catcher is the highest-ranked 2025 recruit to join the Ducks. Oregon's class also features five other top-100 prospects, including Dallas Wilson, who is the sixth-best wide receiver and ranks 33rd overall.
