The 6-foot-1, 190-pound Fegans is the No. 2-ranked safety and 36th overall recruit in 2025 in the ESPN 300.
Auburn closes July as the hottest team on the recruiting trail, as the Tigers brought in two top-40 prospects before landing Fegans. Over the last three days, Hugh Freeze's outfit flipped two ESPN 300 recruits from Alabama, including top-five athlete Derick Smith. The Tigers now have five 2025 top-100 prospects.
The school also significantly upgraded its 2026 class in recent days, adding a pair of top-150 four-star recruits in defensive end Hezekiah Harris and linebacker Shadarius Toodle.
"Coach Freeze is changing the program," Toodle recently said, according to Chad Simmons of On3. "He's turning the program back into a national championship contender."
Auburn reacted to its momentum under coach Freeze on social media.
