Former Michigan recruiting analyst Connor Stalions, who was at the center of the NCAA's investigation into the Wolverines' sign-stealing allegations, has landed a defensive coordinator job at Detroit Mumford High School, according to David Goricki of The Detroit News.

"I got the most hated man in college football right now, Connor Stalions," Detroit Mumford head coach William McMichael told Goricki. "He's my defensive coordinator."

Stalions reportedly wore a disguise on the sideline for Michigan State's season opener against Central Michigan in 2023, among other infringements. The Big Ten suspended then-head coach Jim Harbaugh for the final three games of last season for his role in the scandal. However, the NCAA did not find any evidence Harbaugh knew about the operation.

Stalions resigned from his Michigan post in November 2023 amid the investigation.

McMichael, who took the head coaching job after being an assistant for over 30 years, praised Stalions for his knowledge of the Wolverines' defensive scheme.

"He's outstanding. I think he knows Michigan's defense just as well as anyone else who was there with (former defensive coordinator Jesse) Minter and all of those guys. He's great with the kids, has an outstanding football mind, and we're learning a lot - not just the kids, but the coaching staff."

McMichael added, "He's a great addition to what we're doing."

Stalions is set to feature in the episode "Sign Stealer" off the Netflix show "Unsolved," which debuts August 27.
