Michigan is turning to Davis Warren again.

The former walk-on quarterback started Saturday's game against Michigan State.

Warren began the 2024 season as the starter for the reigning national champions but was benched for Alex Orji after throwing three interceptions against Arkansas State in Week 3. Orji then made three starts before the Wolverines replaced him with Jack Tuttle as QB1. Tuttle played last week's loss to Illinois, finishing the matchup with a 62.5% completion rate to go along with 208 yards and no touchdowns against one interception.

The 4-3 Wolverines are likely to explore Orji's running ability against the Spartans, as he's expected to be on the field for specific situations in a change-of-pace role, a source told ESPN.

Warren completed 66.7% of his passes while passing for 444 yards and two touchdowns to six interceptions before losing the starting role earlier this season.
