Clemson will host ex-Purdue edge rusher Will Heldt on a transfer visit in the coming days, his agents told ESPN's Pete Thamel.
The Tigers have never taken a scholarship defensive player from the portal, according to Thamel.
Heldt tallied 56 total tackles, including 10 tackles for loss and five sacks, and a fumble recovery in 12 games with the Boilermakers this season.
The 6-foot-6, 265-pounder is also visiting LSU and Texas A&M, Thamel adds. Heldt has two years of eligibility remaining.
