Cal running back Jaydn Ott is entering the transfer portal as a grad transfer, reports ESPN's Max Olson.

Ott played three seasons for the Golden Bears, registering at least 1,200 scrimmage yards and 11 total touchdowns in 2022 and '23 before battling injuries in 2024.

He enjoyed a breakout season and led the Pac-12 with 1,315 rushing yards (5.3 per carry) during the 2023 season while setting a career high with 12 touchdowns on the ground. The star tailback also scored a 100-yard TD on a kickoff return that year.

Ott did appear in 10 games last season, but injuries limited him to only 116 carries, 385 yards, and four TDs on the ground.

He immediately becomes one of the top players available in the portal. When healthy, Ott - who was a 2024 preseason All-ACC selection - is arguably one of the nation's premier running backs.

Oklahoma is one school to watch as a potential candidate to land Ott, sources told Olson.
