Step aside Bo Jackson, there's a new Tecmo Bowl glitch waiting to be exploited.

You may have heard that Wisconsin running back Melvin Gordon recently set the FBS single-game rushing record with 408 yards and three touchdowns against Nebraska last Saturday.

Well that performance has officially been immortalized in all its 8-bit glory.

Just take a look at this (mostly accurate) depiction of how Gordon would have dominated Nebraska's hapless run defense had the game taken place in Tecmo Bowl instead of at Camp Randall Stadium.

This comes a few weeks after Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota was transformed into the 8-bit "Super Mariota."

As for who did it better? Well that all depends on whether you grew up wrecking defenders with the unstoppable Bo Jackson in Tecmo Bowl or trying to save the lovely Princess Peach from the clutches of Bowser.

Talk about nostalgia.
