<p><a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///ncaab/teams/102" href="http://www.thescore.com/ncaab/teams/102">Ball State</a> will reportedly name Mark Sandy its new athletic director, according to<a href="https://twitter.com/McMurphyESPN/status/553012064055091200"> ESPN's Brett McMurphy</a>.</p><p>The announcement is expected to be made Thursday.</p><p>Sandy is currently the athletic director at <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///ncaab/teams/339" href="http://www.thescore.com/ncaab/teams/339">Eastern Kentucky</a>, where he's been since 2005.</p><div class="the-score-article-ad-unit"></div><p>Ball State's position <a href="http://espn.go.com/college-sports/story/_/id/11494968/marquette-golden-eagles-name-bill-scholl-new-athletic-director">has been open</a> since September, when former athletic director Bill Scholl left for Marquette.</p>

Competition will have to continue there.”</p><div class="the-score-article-ad-unit"></div><p>Jennings played in every game this season and threw for 1,611 yards, 11 touchdowns and seven interception, but only completed 48 percent of his passes. </p><p>Harris threw for 452 yards, six touchdowns and two interceptions in eight games. </p>
