Alabama's Amari Cooper wins Fred Biletnikoff Award

Alabama wide receiver Amari Cooper won the Fred Biletnikoff Award Thursday.

A Heisman Trophy candidate, Cooper led the nation in receiving yards (1,656) and receptions (115). He was also tied for second in touchdowns.

Former Oregon State and current New Orleans Saints wideout Brandin Cooks won the award last year, which is given out to the best receiver in college football.

Colorado State's Rashard Higgins and West Virginia's Kevin White were also finalists for the award.
