Scooby Wright III wins Bednarik Award

Arizona linebacker Scooby Wright III won the Chuck Bednarik Award Thursday.

Wright III, who on Wednesday won the Lombardi Award, led the nation in tackles for losses (25) and was third in sacks (14).

Former Pitt and current St. Louis Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald won the award last year.

Ohio State defensive end Joey Bosa and Clemson defensive end Vic Beasley were also finalists for the award, which is given out to the nation's best defensive player.
