Report: Jim Harbaugh considering Michigan job
San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh is reportedly considering the vacant head coaching position at the University of Michigan, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
It was reported Wednesday that the university had offered Harbaugh a six-year, $48-million contract.
If he were to take the position, the $8.17 million annual salary would make Harbaugh the highest paid coach in college football.
However, while multiple sources are saying he's considering the position, another person close to the process said it wasn't likely.
