Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports
Clemson quarterback DeShaun Watson has emerged as one of the top Heisman Trophy candidates this season, and used the first half in Saturday's game against Syracuse to show why.
The sophomore pivot threw for two touchdowns, but his most impressive contribution was a 3-yard scoring run after powering through a number of defenders.
The top-ranked Tigers held a 31-17 lead over Syracuse at the half.
