VIDEO: Western Michigan's P.J. Fleck gets modified Gatorade shower
Mike DiNovo-USA TODAY Sports
Western Michigan pulled off a big upset Friday, ending Toledo's MAC title hopes with a 35-30 win, and the Broncos celebrated with a unique version of the traditional Gatorade shower for the winning coach.
With no Gatorade tub on the sidelines to douse coach P.J. Fleck, the Broncos adapted and instead emptied multiple bottles on the 34-year-old's head.
The victory was the first in program history over a top-25 opponent, so perhaps Gatorade bottles won't be the only ones involved in Fleck's celebration Friday night.
