USC's Tre Madden will miss the Holiday Bowl after undergoing surgery on his knee, coach Clay Helton told reporters Saturday.
The senior running back has been slowed by the knee injury throughout the season, only carrying the ball 22 times in the past five games.
The surgery marks the end of Madden's college career, which he finished with 1155 yards and eight touchdowns on the ground, and five scores through the air.
