PHOTO: Dabo Swinney's home golf course unveils mini football field
Support for No. 1 Clemson as the Tigers head in to the College Football Playoff is coming from all sorts of places, including coach Dabo Swinney's home golf course, The Reserve at Lake Keowee.
The grounds crew at Swinney's home course - a perk that comes with the head-coaching position at Clemson - laid out a small field, complete with a Tiger claw in the middle.
"We have such a strong relationship with the university and we wanted to find a unique way to show our support while the football team is on a truly historic run," said course sales director Rutledge Livingston, who played for Clemson in the mid-1970s. "We think this is a pretty cool way of doing that."
Members at The Reserve are also planning an on-property tailgate for Clemson's New Year's Eve matchup with Oklahoma.
