Monaco signs Djibril Sidibe from Lille
Lille's man of many a position, Djibril Sidibe, has made the switch from the north east to the principality, penning a five-year deal with Monaco.
Sidibe, 23, was unveiled by Monaco on Friday after a successful medical, joining last season's third-place Ligue 1 side through 2021 for an undisclosed fee, according to a statement on the club's website.
"It is with great pride that i become involved with a historic club like AS Monaco. I am very happy to be here," Sidibe said Friday.

Monaco is Sidibe's third French side after the versatile defender graduated from Troyes' junior ranks to the first team in 2010 before making a move to Lille in 2012 to cover for the departed Mathieu Debuchy.
More of an attacking full-back than a traditional defender, Sidibe appeared in all but one of Les Dogues' league matches last season, pairing four goals with three assists.
Having started matches for Lille in four different positions last season, Sidibe's strength on the flanks is complemented by his pace and crossing ability. He played a vital role in Lille's second-half surge under Frederic Antonetti.
Sidibe becomes Monaco's third defensive-minded signing of the summer window, after Leonardo Jardim's lot secured the services of Benjamin Mendy from Marseille and Polish international standout Kamil Glik from Torino.
