There's just something about Sergio Ramos and late headers.

The result, which extends Real's unbeaten run to 33 matches in all competitions, sees Zinedine Zidane's club maintain its six-point lead at the top of the table.

A dour opening half made way for a more open, end-to-end second stanza, and though the home side created the better of the chances and looked more dangerous going forward - Neymar's blazed effort over the bar being the most notable opportunity - Madrid's late strike saw the status quo maintained in the race for the La Liga crown.
