High school softball umpire makes terrible out call

An Alabama softball umpire has come under fire for what some are calling the worst out call of all time.

As the video above shows, Fultondale High School sophomore Lindsey Harris clearly beat the throw to first base, but was called out. She remained on first while Fultondale head coach Kristen McGrath argued with the umpire to no avail.

Fultondale senior Kayla Jasper, who tweeted out the video, told Erik Harris of the North Jefferson News that the umpire eventually sent Harris back to the dugout, saying "Get off the bag so we can play ball."

Fultondale went on to win the game 19-8.
