Report: Derrick Rose to meet with Bucks on Monday
The Milwaukee Bucks may not have sufficient cap room, but that's not stopping them from at least meeting with a former NBA Most Valuable Player in free agency.
Milwaukee officials will reportedly meet with point guard Derrick Rose on Monday, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Already tied to a number of large contracts, the Bucks are reportedly attempting to shed salary in an effort to clear space.
Restricted free agent Tony Snell was recently locked in to a four-year, $46-million contract, while both Greg Monroe ($17.8 million) and Spencer Hawes ($6.02 million) picked up their respective options for the 2017-18 season as well.
The Bucks currently have Rookie of the Year Malcolm Brogdon and Matthew Dellavedova at the point, with All-Star Giannis Antetokounmpo also capable of handling the rock and running the offense.

In what could end up being his only season with the New York Knicks, Rose averaged 18 points, 4.4 assists, and 3.8 rebounds while shooting 47.1 percent from the field. He missed 18 games, including the final eight of the campaign after tearing the meniscus in his left knee, resulting in yet another surgery.
